Meet The Team

Founder
Regenerative consultant, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, she has worked at the intersection of climate solutions and ecological rights for over 15 years, driving deeper synergy between humanity and our planet. She has developed, led, and operated initiatives for Intel, The Council on Foreign Relations, the Obama Presidential Campaign 2008, The Lakota Nation, The Climate Emergency Fund, The Mother Earth Delegation of Original Peoples, and the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, to name a few. She has cultivated coalitions across the Rights of Nature movement ecosystem and many indigenous alliances for the preservation of key biocultural territories, which contain 80% of the earth's remaining biodiversity. Her extensive network spans from the centers of wealth and institutional power to the edges of indigenous communities, front-line activists, scientists, and systems innovators. This combined with her ability to convene robust ecosystems of unlikely allies and facilitate powerful collaborations, brings unique, innovative solutions to the world’s greatest challenges.

Lisa Chacon
Director of Innovation
Co-founder of Impact Hub Oakland, with a mission to cultivate, connect and support social entrepreneurs and changemakers as they pioneer solutions for a world that works for all. Lisa brings two decades of leadership as an innovator, strategist, and facilitator, working in contexts from indigenous economic development, startup entrepreneurship, and social innovation to corporate consulting and technology R&D. Her passion lies in facilitating the emergence of collective intelligence, developing collaborative ecosystems, cultivating communities of purpose, and empowering changemakers for systemic and cultural transformation. She pioneered a corporate innovation methodology that brought together pairs of Fortune 500 tech companies to ideate and prototype at the intersection of their core technologies and value props. Lisa holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, an M.S. in sustainability from Sweden’s Blekinge Institute, and eight patents in display glass and optical fiber.
